TRIAS DIN Library for Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) and Capital™

Solution & Service

The basic DIN library consists of 74 elements (components, symbols and analysis models). The graphic symbols are based on the specifications according to DIN 61082-2, with reference to IEC 60617.  The files can be easily added to existing Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) 2.0 / Capital ™ symbol and component libraries.

This library is free of charge for existing TRIAS customers with licences under maintenance.

    Service

    The productivity and quality improvements provided by Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) and Capital ™ are largely based on the intelligence built into the component library. Both tools use component data to perform design reviews, as well as to generate intuitive charts and comprehensive reports.

    Therefore, building a correct and intelligent library is very important. However, it is time consuming and sometimes considered as overheads, not as productive activity such as designing.

    Transferring the data to the TRIAS library development service will free up resources to focus on design.

      SIMULATION MODEL CREATION SERVICE FOR CAPITAL™ ESSENTIALS (FORMER VESYS®) AND CAPITAL™

      Service

      A key benefit of using specialized tools such as Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) and Capital™ for the creation of schematics is the ability to validate the electrical behavior of the circuit.  In order to accomplish this task, simulation models have to be connected to those components which are part of the wiring diagram.

      If the required models do not already exist in the standard Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) Design / Capital™ Logic library, they have to be created using the Siemens EDA language SAINT or the Model Builder Wizard, which are included in both tools.

      Transferring the data to the TRIAS Model Creation Service will free up resources to focus on design creation and validation.

        CONVERSION OF WIRING & HARNESS DRAWINGS TO CAPITAL™ ESSENTIALS (FORMER VESYS®) AND CAPITAL™ FORMAT

        Service

        Wiring and harness drawings, which have been created with non-specialized tools, are very useful for documentation purposes, but lack intelligence. In the end they are just nice looking pictures. They cannot validate their behaviour through simulation, and cannot automatically generate reports.  Each change takes at least as much time and effort as the initial design creation.

        Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) users who want to convert existing (legacy) drawings to Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) smart diagrams, or want to check Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) benefits on an existing drawing, will need to recreate them all over again in Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®). There is no way of automatic conversion.

        TRIAS conversion service makes light work of the conversion of existing drawings.

          INTEGRATION BETWEEN TEAMCENTER AND CAPITAL™ ESSENTIALS (FORMER VESYS®) | CAPITAL™

          Service

          Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) and Capital ™ have a direct interface to the Siemens Digital Industries Software PLM software Teamcenter. Both software products are by one company.

          TRIAS can carry out an integration based on your requirements.

          The mapping of workflows can also be carried out on our test server if required.

          After approval, we will install the integration solution on your server.

          Then the result can be used productively.

            INTEGRATION WITH MCAD TOOLS AND CAPITAL™ ESSENTIALS (FORMER VESYS®) | CAPITAL™

            Service

            Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) and Capital ™ harness design systems contain interfaces to 3D MCAD systems such as NX (Siemens), Creo (PTC), Catia (Dassault) or other tools, which use geometry data from wiring harnesses bundled in the 3D model.  This includes fasteners, grommets, hoses, etc. into which Capital™ Essentials (former VeSys®) and Capital™ Harness Design Tools  are imported. All wiring harness drawing data is then transferred directly from 3D-MCAD into the wiring harness design system.

            Integration can be carried out by TRIAS upon request.
